Default Re-acquired Vehicles?

So I'm not going to name drop the dealership, but if you do some research you will find it. I was just curious why they had two SRT-6s with a 30,000 mile difference at the same price....I had no idea you could do this with vehicles. I don't think this even showed up on the CarFax/AutoCheck, but I may not have run this vehicle's VIN. Either way...crazy to think about and I definitely don't think I would want this car...

Here's the email I received:

The one with lower miles is a reaquired Vehicle, what that means is to keep a loyal customer happy they bought it back from them. The customer had a complaint and Chrysler bought it back, took it back to the factory, ran it back down the assembly line, fixed whatever was wrong with it and checked it out to make sure there is not anything else wrong with it. But to the next consumer, they give you a 12 month/unlimited milage warrenty bumber to bumber to make sure it is free from any and all defects. I looked up this SRT6 and the complaint was the check engine light had come on and went off and I believe the ABS light had came on and went off. They could not duplicate the problem when they recieved it back at the factory. Reguardless, they still give you the 12 month warrenty. That is why we can sell it a little cheaper. We sell hundreds of these. They are really nice pre owned cars that we can sell at a great price! Give me a call or shoot me an email with any other questions.

Has anyone heard of this? Seems like a bad idea to me...
