Re: Dash Kit
they all seem pretty much the same, some offer more parts under the instrument cluster. check to see what the kit comes with. otherwise get the cheapest. I try to match the kit to the interior. The synthetic carbon fiber has silver in it that goes well with the center console and the combination of black and silver gives it a gray effect that goes well with charcoal. I used it on our base model and really liked it. The English burl or marble wood, they call it by various names, would work ok with charcoal, I used it on a slk that I first stripped then re-dyed black in my case the parts were originally oyster, but most are charcoal. On the other hand, I have a Japanese cherry wood kit coming for a cedar/charcoal interiored xfire roadster we just picked up . it's as close to the cedar color I could find. btw way I never used the primer that comes with the kits. It holds fine without and it won't hurt your interior parts incase you change your mind and want to take it off. Save it though, you might want to nail something down a little better if it starts to separate. make sure it's clean, free of stuff like " armor all" etc
