That would work too , i was thinking about alum, oval not flat with a flat piece (plate) that bolts to S/C , Maybe a different mounting location instead of the shockbolt ,the raised part of the innerfender just to the outside of the strut , if you can visualize what i'm talking about ,they are matching raised areas on either side that have small plugs in then,,,
if this makes since good mounting area for the outside mounting plates
