From the 2004 Service manual:


STANDARD PROCEDURE

MASTER CYLINDER BLEEDING


WARNING: RISK OF POISONING DUE TO SWALLOWING BRAKE FLUID. RISK OF INJURY DUE TO BRAKE

FLUID COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE SKIN AND EYES.
Note: Only pour brake fluid into suitable, appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and
safety glasses when handling brake fluid.


1. Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir cap.
2. Connect a pressure bleeder to the brake master cylinder
reservoir.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Open the bleeder screw (1) on the slave cylinder.
5. Allow the brake fluid to flow until there are no bubbles and
fluid is clear.
6. Close the bleeder screw.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Disconnect the pressure bleeder.
9. Install the brake master cylinder reservoir cap.

10. Check the operation of the clutch.
