American Racing headers are quality pieces. We just got done installing a set on a new SS Camaro and have a set to replace the Kooks currently on our C6 Z06.

For tuning, look into HP tuners. It uses the stock ecu and is entirely end user adjustable, plus a license for the software is only like 500 bucks. Its more than paid for itself with our vette.
