s40 - agree with you on the PT analogy. I had 2 of them but there were two factors that turned me elsewhere. 1 was the day I bought my GT Cruiser. It was the first time I saw, sat in, fell in love with a Crossfire and you all know what that does to you, second was as you state, PT's were everywhere. When I saw one that had a chrome shade over the front window, chrome wheel trims, stick on flames and those brass ********* hanging under the back of my car I knew it was time to go for something else. I guess that could have been any car but how could someone do that to a PT? Early on in the PT fad it was an experience, waiting for your car to be built (mine took almost 4 months for the first one), heck I even had to make an appointment to test drive one so many people were interested in them. Early owners would wave at each other, it was a lot of fun, great Forum, lots of get togethers and then it became "just a car" to many people. I'm glad I was able to segue into the Crossfire. You are right about this area, there is a ton of Camaro's while the Crossfire is still pretty rare. Like a teenager I am having fun doing mods to my car which I swore I'd never ever do. Never say never!
