Default Can a Johnson ever be too big?

I've decided to upgrade to the Johnson intercooler pump on my car. 70GT6 turned me on to a good deal from APE and thanks again for that, dude.

When I was looking over the specs I noticed the model they sell has 3/4" fittings. I thought that seemed a little bigger than the tubing coming out of the intercooler on the engine and measured it with a caliper. Sure enough it measures closer to 5/8".

Those of you who have done this upgrade, what size fittings were on your pumps. You would think bigger is better flow wise...and I'm cool with that...but there is not alot of room for adapters down there...
and while stuffing an oversized Johnson in and under sized hole can in other circumstances be a whole lot of fun...I don't believe this is such a case.

Please hip me to the skinny here guys...I'm ready to order!
