Oh BTW, thanks Montana Crossfire for the words of caution...I plan to isolate the intercooler system from the engine setup which should give me a net reduction in pressure on the intercooler core...I think...
Internal pressure is minimal when you are sumping what you are pumping so a higher capacity pump isn't likely to be an issue. Pressure is the result of resistance against the pump or a volume increase the result of temperature expansion in a closed captive system. By separating from your engine system, this is to be an open (ambient) system so, I don't think that is an issue here either.
