Actually you are quite wrong, the S2K will out perform the Crossfire on a road course, just because one car goes through cones faster does not mean its the better handler. Granted the Crossfire probably makes the better driver, but the S2K is the better performer. I never really had a mechanical problem with my s2k. And they spent under well under 2 grand for 2 sets of tire and a brake job for the evo. And then 3 grand to Vishnu for performance modifications, The grand total they put into it was around 5k. Not 10k. I have 1200 dollar wheel setup on my crossfire just so I can drive it in chicagoland snow. Don't forget the Crossfire needs 100 dollar oil changes. They are both pricey to maintain. Just my .02
