My thoughts exactly, except California instead of Colorado! I watch the redwing blackbirds & the blackwing blackbirds, and the cows running & the woolly weeders (sheep) when the traffic slows.

Can't ride my Suzi 800 cruiser this year with my bum wrist, but it's as much fun in my XF with the top down. I'll be the "baggage" on my hubby's bike this year - horrors! Went shopping ( & found) a used BMW 1200 (2003) yesterday for him so that I can ride behind him (that's the excuse - he could've got a different seat for the Road Warrior).

Anyway, I'm laughing because his face is lobster red from Saturday in the XF with the top down!
