Anyway, I've been thinking about the quick-touch top switch and have a question. As you all know, the automatic feature applies not just to the convertible top but it also works when you double-tap the top control button to raise or lower the windows in tandem. My question is this - is there an automatic reversal or stop built in? I haven't tried testing it, but I worry a little bit about someone getting their fingers caught between the windows and the convertible top when the windows are raised with the top up.

I know that I can just not use that two-window feature; however, I've gotten used to it and I'm not sure I can break the habit.
Anytime you press either side of the switch, it will stop whatever operation it is currently doing. So if you're putting the top up or down automatically and hit the switch, it will stop. Same goes for the windows up and down; hit the switch while they are moving and they stop. There really was a lot of safety features built into this module. Now that's not to say that if someone sticks their finger in there that it will stop on it's own. It would be just like you holding the switch down. Any amount of common sense would dictate that when you're putting the top up or down, you make sure there isn't a little kid around to get his finger stuck in it and if that is a major concern, you should not use the module.
