I used MB engine, computer and wiring harness from a CL500
The SL55 intake tubes made a great difference! May have to have that rematch sooner than latter

how about from a dead stop?? I was using the stock N/A V6 tubes pushed inside the the air cleaner inlets instead of going around them. I also still had the V6 plastc parts with the very small opening on each side of the radiator. With the V6 intake tubes the engine sounded like a Hoover vacum from 5,000 rpm up. Now it sounds and runs much better.
I did have a major accomplishment last week. I took it in for its annual inspection and it passed just fine. In Texas they don't snif OBDII cars but they do hook up to the OBDII port. the CL500 computer told the state system the right VIN number and all checks passed!
