It definitely began running a few seconds after re-starting the car ...after bringing up operating temp, then sitting for about 15 minutes.
I'm satisfied that it is now repaired, since the one I removed would not even run when bench testing.
I've got a set of factory manuals coming, so hopefully I will come to fully understand how the circuits are set up.
These cars are new to me and I'm at the front of the learning curve.
