I really don't have the run flats, but the F1 all season seem reasonably quiet and smooth. I heard they can get noisy as they wear. Also, I heard the run flats have a "harder" feeling ride. Maybe someone who has run flats of any brand could be more informative.

Actually, the run flats make a lot of sense for any car with no spare tire! I guess I feel lucky with newer tires and can't remember the last time I had a tire fail while driving. Had a few tires go flat in my driveway over night from a piece of metal that I removed and was able to plug successfully.
