I agree it's ghetto compared to the slick CAI's available, but if one bought a new camaro SS this would look similar to what a K&N setup painted black in there would be. It would almost be comparable blasphemy to do that to a new camaro also. For maintenance sake, just make sure the valve covers don't leak and dirty up the filter to quickly.
