Good point - although - no offense to people who restore Defenders for a living - but their purpose in life is arbitrage and it's mostly because of them that the prices are artificially inflated.

I know for a fact that prices of Defenders are much, much lower outside of the US - simply because there is more supply. Case in point - when my little brother came back from medical missions in Ethiopia, he knew personally of several well-used Defenders selling for several thousand dollars - beat up, but definitely working and very cheap. The question I have is, instead of outlets like Dupont Registry which is basically a marketplace for people who think they can charge $40,000 for a 20 year old Defender 90, where are the real Defenders being sold - the ones that are coming out of third world countries?
