Do you happen to know what code(s) you're getting and can you hear it cycle when you first start the car after it's been sitting awhile? unless your hose came disconnected like RPatton's, you probably have either an intermittent wiring issue or a bad air pump.

Robert, do you have an OBDII scan tool? If you do, what code(s) is it giving you?
