Just did this modification with non-polarized 220 microfarad capacitors from Amazon.com. Definite improvement in sound quality. Modification is quick and easy to do. The directions provided at the beginning of this thread are accurate and easy to follow. Thanks for the write-up and photos -- they were very helpful.
