Honestly is was the lack of response from Chrysler Corporate that did it for me... I sent an e-mail, explained the case three times over the phone to multiple people and called back on multiple occassions. Nobody ever contacted me, responded to my e-mail, etc. I was given the 'courtsey' number every time and told that someone would have to get back to me to determine if the paint flaking off was covered or not, as well as a few other things...

Just didn't like the way I was treated all the way around... Don't mean to knock those loyal Crossfire owners, as it was a fun car, but it was just a bad situation in my case and I didn't want to deal with it for the next few years when I had a problem.
