the reason i didnt tell you how to take them apart is because you arent supposed to take them apart. you posted your question and 1 day later you are upset because nobody answered you. and yet again i tell you everything you need to know is in the service manual at the top of this section. its huge and is directly what the techs use.
the attitude comes from the answers you got werent what you wanted to hear and so you keep asking without searching. k&n makes thousands of filters. they have no clue what clamps are being used and could care less. you chose to take their instructions over the members (other than myself) who have done this many times.
