Thanks Danny. I feel like I am riding this guy's a$$, and I do not know him from Adam, but I think this is what CrossfireForum is all about. The more he works with these guys the deeper he gets under the law---I know; I sold cars when I had my tire stores. You only have so much time to get out of a deal, and the clock is ticking! He has a great leg to stand on, and I, as well as you, think he should use it. He is being too nice. They sold him a car that has a better chance than not to have trouble in the future.
You are SOOOO right that the damage may not show up for months. It is like eating at McDonald's---does not kill you right away, but the damage is there if you eat it everyday. Overheating can leave a mark---you have seen it, and so have I; I can tell that this guy has not. SEVERE overheating can be costly and NO ONE will ever know how many times that motor has been stressed---no way to know. I agree---try a different car! Still a SRT 6, just not that one!!!! I would bet $1000 bucks if he kills the deal, and someone else ask about the car---10 would jump in and say that's the one that the dealer sold overheating----run, Forrest, run!!!
Transmission---Even MORE questions!!!!
