Hi guys,
I'm having exactly the same problem with my 04 coupe, the tailgate (or boot as i'd know it!) has been permanently unlocked for some time.

Having searched the forum i'm certain it's a broken air line as i hear a prolonged whooshing of air sound from there everytime i lock or unlock the car.

Given that i've found all my local dealers to be completely clueless I'd like to have a go at fixing this myself.

Big question is - how to i get to the line to fix it? any chance of some quick step by steps from someone who's done this - from the sound i think it's the corner hinge above my right shoulder when sat in the drivers seat (right hand drive as i'm in UK) - so top right as you look from the back

Any help would be much appreciated,
