The tiles are suppose to resist most chemicals, including hydraulic fluids, brake fluids and battery acid, and hot tires won’t mark 'em. Mine are made from polypropylene, same stuff as your gas tank and car bumper.
Swisstrax has a 12 year warranty, so far no problems, time will tell.
3-4 years. tires mark it, oil, brake cleaner, whatever you spill will stain it.
248*F is nothing, a catalytic converter runs upwards of 1100*F which turns the stuff to silly putty
I honestly prefer an epoxied garage, either that or lay down linoleum, it might show tire marks but it feels better to work on than race deck
