guess I missed this thread....hope he killed the deal....aluminum and heat don't go together...but, if I were to risk it...it would be on an AMG motor...it has a lot of safe guards built in...and who, knows...maybe they had something replaced, like the pump...and just didn't birp the system...I wouldn't think any sane person would drive her till she dropped...but, I would have asked a lot of questions before closing that deal...and sure as hell wouldn't have paid the asking price at that point...hope he did the right thing...
