Talking How my walbro and regulator went in

I installed the pump, regulator, filter and the associated boost control hose. The photos are of the install that I did to share my approach incase it assists anyone else in their installation.

The regulator is mounted with the adjustor facing down so that it can be dissassembled easily for adjustment of the dump orfice. Setting the regulator is easy with the gauge located next to the set screw. The regulator seemed to want to be located on the vapor recovery tank behind the passenger seat. This allows the return line to be direct from the regulator bypass line back to the tank fitting which is directly above the regulator body.

FYI the small round **** on the fuel line going to the motor is a pressure exansion tank to smooth out pulsations of the fuel flow. Kinda like a pneumatic accumulator to prevent water hammer in your house or hydraulic systems. It is not direction sensitive and can be before the regulator or after it on the pressure line.

Iam starting with a pressure setting of 65# just to see how it runs /works; when the rain goes away...................

Enjoy, Woody
