To the original poster, I usually just buy what ever brand of tire gel is on sale, wipe it on with a cloth and I have never had any issues with tire sling no matter what brand i have used. I suppose if I were to apply it to the tires like cake frosting then immediately drive off it may sling all over the car lol.
