No John, we didn't really go that far away from where we live. That stretch of "OLD" Rt. 30 was just a few miles west of Minerva. I knew where it was at, but I had never traveled over it, and was very surprised to see several miles of bare naked brick. It's the longest section I've come across yet.
Barb got very nostalgic hearing the sound of the bricks as we drove over them, since she was raised on S. Firestone Blvd. in Akron and grew up hearing that sound her entire child hood. Not many roads like that one still exist.
As Doc pointed out (for safety's sake that might be a good idea).
Rick, I agree, we would be amazed at how many cool old cars there are "stashed" away in garages and barns here in the "rust belt" of Ohio.
