Re: maybe we can get the 327 rear gear to work
first if i can get into the 11 without the 327 then fine ,,but the small change from 307 to 327 would put me in the 11 and would not brake as easy (torque)
is 1 tenth really worth the cost? yes and no nitrus for me.
Also, is the 3.27 any stronger than the stock SRT rear end? no but it needs less power to move it
Jim did I read that correctly? put a N/A transmission in the SRT or just the TCU? because an N/A transmission wont last long with the SRT. I would like to put a n/a tranny ,rear end, and tcm into my car and see what happens, it is the same transmission,,you have to add a clutch pac and the limited has 5 clutchs the srt 6 has 6 in each clutch pac,but yes it is the same, you may have to use a srt6 valve body. not sure on that.
The point is that in the future there will not be enough used SRT6 carriers to replace the broken ones.but if we get the 327 to work we will have a lot of rear ends just so you know the new challanger, charger 300c and a few others use the same trannyand rear as we do, ( slight changes),mounting, valve body, gear sets, are bigger so the will not fit into the x fire, the new himi gets the same tranny as we do just refigered,
