I have driven several rear wheel drive cars in the snow. The 2000 Mustang GT was the worst. I drove a G35 Coupe With Blizzak snows no problem. I also drove a 135I in the snow no problems. The whole key is the tires. Get dedicated snow tires and you will be fine. Hey if there is a foot of snow then you shouldn't be out anyway.
