I have a Nokia 6310 which is standard fit in all Mercs , this is also Bluetooth . I also have a Sony Ericsson phone ( Dont know the number ) this is also Bluetooth , I was recommended to get the Sony Ericsson Bluetooth car kit as it will recognize any Bluetooth phone .
I had it fitted prior to the car being delivered by MPC , it works with the Chrysler sound system , so can be turned up or down on the sound system. There is just a small 5 way button on the dash ( its black and chrome ) so no matter where the phone is , if it rings you press the top and talk . If the other person hangs up , you do nothing , if you hang up you just push the bottom of the button . The microphone is fitted where the interior lights are and can pick up voices from driver and passenger ,
to make a call you press the top of the button , phone comes up in the Radio display and you just say the name of the person you are calling , Hey Presto it works .
Its better than I ever thought and works with both phones ,I am have the system installed in my 4X4 it works so well , that way I jusy keep the phone in my pocket and no matter what car I drive the phone works.
It works well for me.
Regards
JJ
