Default rearend #2

Just though some of you would want to see and here this.

Last month i replaced the rear for the second time the first one was just howling, so was replaced with a new differential and two new axles ,,now in the mean time we installed the limited differential (327) gears,, the limited diff does not have the same yoke and the srt so we removed the yoke from the new ,never installed diff. and installed the limited rear,,, well limp mode ,,, then we removed the limited ,,changed the yoke back to the srt diff added two new axles, off the the track first burn out ,i heard something, second burn out everything seemed ok, ran 12.60 @ 108,with a blown , i had so much noise in the rear iknew i broke something, got the car back in two weeks with a new rear and two rebuilded axles, now the srt 6 differenial does not come with a srt yoke so we had to use the old one again. took the car home , the rear seals on the diff were leaking, you need a special took to install the seals, you can't jus tap them in like we have done for the last 100 years, all ends good i now have a running car with a new srt6 rear in it , two rebuilt axles and no leaks. oh! here are the pic of the diff. the spider gears were in tack chipped maybe but still there, i could still drive the car just a lot of noise, the reason i had to use rebuilt axles is because we could not get them out of the diff, i guess driving with no oil can do that LOL. now i am on diff #3
