Ah, to heck with all this talk about Chevy this, or Mopar that.
I say gut the back end of the car, and slip in a Porsche Twin Turbo 3.8 Flat 6 Engine from a 911 GT2.

Then put in the front end drivetrain and suspension bits from a Carrera 4, and have the first AWD Twin Turbo Crossfire.

That would be a worthy, and probably pretty easy project, all things considered, and would make your car unique, and not some cookie cutter Chevy engine drop in project that has been done on everything from Yugo's to Metros.
