very little effect? unemployment doubled in dallas county from 4.4% in march 2007 to 8.8% in march 2010.

where the OP is looking, you aren't likely going to be able to negotiate a sub $10K price on a nice Crossfire with comparable mileage. $11K from a retail lot is probably about as low as you'll find. NoVa unemployment only 5%! Of course he could take a road trip and find a cheaper Crossfire and drive it home.

i just don't understand the mentality that anyone that pays more than the last guy has somehow overpaid for the car.
