He was "pissed" that someone knew true wholesale. FULL retail on KBB is $11,600 or so---He's just mad!!!! I would tell him "I'll leave it"----There's more for less money!!!! His reason for the higher price is weak. A $200 buy fee and trans from the auction is low. How much reconditioning was needed on a 34k car? How "rough" was this car? He did not spend $500 over the bid price on that car. PLUS being a 6spd, he got it that much UNDER avg wholesale, OR he does not know how to buy which may be the case. These cars MOVE SLOW---REAL SLOW. I have sold six so far, and they do not move that fast, but I buy them right and I like driving them, so I am okay with two plus months of sale time.

Edit: One member just posted a lower price on an 04 with 10,800 miles for $11,400---cheaper with a 3rd the miles. Better deals all around---let this one go!!!!!!
