Went this morning and got new batteries for both key fobs, and replaced them after the alarm sounded off again. I'm noticing that the alarm is doing this when the temp outside gets to around 95 deg and higher. I did run a diagnostic using an OBD II code puller and have no codes showing. Next time it goes off I guess I'll start replacing fuses, then the relay. I did see that on a SAAB forum that the cause of their alarms acting up were the rechargeable batteries in the alarm itself. Their batteries were at the end of their life had had to be replaced.
If the issue is due to the hot climate here in Texas can someone please advise what part of the system could be the culprate?
I'm in Alabama and somewhat similar as heat goes (yeah I know Texas dry heat!!! LOL ). I have 75,000 on my Roadster and NEVER had a problem due to heat....did I mention the car is BLACK in color. Have a hard time believing it's heat related
