Re: Squeaky Wheel Is Back
Recently had similar problem. Squeak from wheel area when turning, in my case rear wheel. Dealer initially said that it was from rust bumps on rotors that occured from not driving much. They said to break hard a few times and maybe they will go away. That didn't work so I returned to dealer and they said the rotors needed to be replaced. This did in fact solve therear wheel squeaking problem. Had another squeaking problem in front (along with left turn steering difficulty) when turning and that turned out to be a faulty steering gear which has just been replaced for a "mere" $3500. I am happy to say the car is currently squeak free. Which it f'n better be.
