Congrats on the assignment Allan. I lived in Stuttgart for 3 years. I took a new SUV with me when I went, and ended up buying a BMW 735i after I got there. I was amazed at the good deals that you could find from GI's that were transferring back to the states and wanted to drive the car till the last minute. Then they would unload them at a bargain price. Of course, that was back in 1986, so things have probably changed a lot since then. You can have a lot of fun going up to Bremerhaven to pick your car up.... just hold on to your wallet in the red light district. LOL
