The reason I ask is that this is now the excuse for my sat nav not working, at some point due to a crack the previous owner replaced the screen however not with a genuine Chrysler screen. Thus according to the dealer, the sat nav atenna is not able to pick up the signal properly. This is despite the fact that it transmits hundreds of miles into space and back again in order to tell me where to go, but it cant get through a pane of safety glass. HEAVEN FORBID IF AN AIRPLANE GOT IN THE WAY!!

I have never heard of anything so stupid in all my life...........anyone else agree or had experience of this?
Who installed the navigation unit?
The receiver is placed under the dash behind the nav unit as shown in the attached instructions, sitting on the dash it must look messy and be irritating.
These signals can go through glass no problem, you are picking up signals, so how he can say what he says is typical dealer BS.
