Yep, that's the sound I hear. Not only is it annoying, but it makes the car sound like its 30 years old. It's more prevalent at low RPM in a higher gear, but as the engine noise gets louder due to higher RPM, you can't hear it as much.
My transmission fluid is leaking so I need to take the car in for service anyway. I'll tell them about the flutter and see what they come up with.
Let me know what they find out. I'm almost positive that it's an exhaust leak as the rear cats have been removed on this car and I'm guessing that's what started it.
