A buss (buss bar) is a conductor, typically copper, and a lug is a threaded metal nut that fits on a screw. Just to be a bit cautious, given the questions you've asked (and not to be rude) I would hope that you ask someone with experience to help you during the install of your gauges. If you do it wrong you could cause a bad situation for you and your XF.
