For this vehicle, the insurance is cheap insurance and piece of mind. I purchased a max care before my warranty expired in 2007 and took the 7 year 60.000 miles. My seven years will be up next April. I was told at the time I purchased that the entire amout would be refunded if I didn't have a need to use the extended protection-well the cars been great and haven't needed any service. I only drive it about 4k per year. So, if I don't have any issues, we'll see if that refund ever happens. I still think it's a good investment this car costs a bundle to repair.
