Sorry, I also am a writer for the Show Will & Grace. Well I actually Help my Brother who is very intellegent, and very funny. I've been helping him as much as I can to get into the writting room, and get a script of his sold. So We spend about an hour on the phone, and he'll read to me the section of the script that he has to focus on. We'll pitch different things back and forth, and try to come up with the funniest sides that we can. (Sides are one or two alternative lines that can be used in a set up to a joke. You can also sub them in for the tail(punchline) of the joke, with out changing the context.)
All this is called punching up the script. I help him, so on the chance that they ask him if he has anything, he can hopefully have something different that they will want to use.
He'll sell one of his scripts, I know it. I can see the funny in things, and he has a lot of funny in him, or maybe it's just he's funny looking. Either way it should work out for him one day. He and I are working on Producing a Short and submitting it to Cannes, & Sundance festivals. I'm actually going to be the Director of Photography, Write, & Act in it. The seens that don't involve my character, I'll be operating the camera, unless we can find and operator that wants to do a freebee.
So KyleJ, the story above didn't actually happen to me. I just thought of all the worst case scenarios that all us guys will end up going through at least once in there lives. Well in my case one to many times in my life. My wife just loves to nail me, if I make a wrong turn or something. Its great too, this is coming from a person who gets lost in her own driveway. What are you going to do, You can't live with them, and you can't kill'em. No really, you'll go to jail....
