My SRT is a daily driver simply because once you drive one you will NOT want to leave it resting in the garage, getting lonely !
I bought my SRT with a little over 9K on the odometer - it now has over 82,000 & it has been the best performing & most reliable car I have ever owned. Besides the IC pump & the crank position sensor (both known issues) the engine has been flawless. I've driven it in -20 degree below zero weather (oh man, you guys think the ride is stiff now.......), through snow (though not often - that's why everyone who lives in snow country should have a winter beater), through just about everything & it has never left me stranded.
Nos, the Z-man (BTW, Z, thanks for the shout out to the Newbies link ) has answered your queries correctly - there truly isn't much to worry about!
I guess it's just tough to beat a hand-built engine!!!

Good luck & don't hesitate - buy one now, you will not regret it!
