My thoughts exactly! I shopped for my SRT-6 in three different markets(Ohio, Georgia and Florida). None of the sales staff new much of anything about the car. One dealer in Cincinnati, OH had two SRTs on his lot. I wanted to test drive either of the two. There was only one problem, they wouldn't start! This dealer had not touched these SRTs since they hit his lot and parked them out front in the winter mud. Now I ask myself, if this is how they are treating this car on the front side, how are they gonna treat it in the bays? The kicker is that once they got it up and running, it almost ran out of gas! OUCH!

Make a long story shorter I will not let my local dealer touch my SRT for anything if I can help it. I took it to my local Mercedes dealer for an oil change (about 102.00 out the door) with the reasoning that these guys have been trained on this engine and working on it for several years. They had everything in stock (no surprise there) and I can tell you that just about every tech in the shop walked over to check out the ride! They ALL loved it and said it was much sweeter than the SLK.
