They were neat at first, but they're so much like the '69 that they look old already.I wouldn't want a brand new 69 Camaro or Vette either.
Well for starters, the mustang was made to mimic the '67 model year not 69. And I am a huge mustang fan. I have owned 4 of them. 2 GT's a mach 1, and a 03 cobra. I wanted to get another cobra, but it would tap me out considering I still have the crossfire, that's why i bought the srt-4. And the mustang is an american icon and legend. The mustang will be remembered by all for generations to come, while the crossfire will be forgotten.
Why bring up an M3? The M3 outshines almost every car and is the best car out there for the money. Everyone already knows how I loved my M3. It is currently out of my league now though. Mustangs are something everyone relate too. There bang per buck is amazing, and that my friend is why I always bring them up.
And Dan the new mustang GT is not a crossfire, but i would hands down take the Mustang GT over the crossfire. Some people travel to a beat of a different drum.
Rumor has it, the GT500 is to be priced at just below 40k. Sure you could buy a used Z06 for that or less. But you wont get over 600whp with bolt one's. That car is going to be a beast.
03-04 Cobras have gotten into the 10's on stock blower and internals. And with a KB have gotten in the 9's still on stock internals. This new shelby is so damn cool. Definitely my next car. I'll wait to the bum rush ends on it though, as they will be going for well over sticker when they come out. Already learned my lesson the hard way paying more for than invoice with my M3. As I'm sure some of you crossfire owners have now learned.
