Bullseye, you need to come into the 21st century. There are companies now that market turbo's that mount near the rear axle. It alleviates the problem of heat and space in the engine compartment. That leaves space for an intercooler as well. As far as the internals are concerned, there is no need. Mercedes over engineers all their engines. 10 PSI would not hurt this engine as long as the chip was reprogrammed for the boost and you added a better fuel pump to handle the additional fuel requirements. Hope that's what this is , I keep hoping for a package from DC on the supercharger, but this might be far cheaper and better in the long run. (No parasitic losses).
