Default Re: Scotchgard Paint Protection Film?

I have the 3m clear (bra) protector on my 06. A friend of Andrew (one of our moderators) put it on for me right after I bought the car new. Going on 3 yrs without any hint of yellowing or lifting. My front facia, hood & fenders were free of any nicks or marks since the car was new when istalled & it still is in that same condition today. Been on interstates many times & hit with pebbles & some chunks of larger dried mud off trucks etc. & the film has absorbed all commers with no marks what so ever. I'm glad I also had the headlight covers included in the 3M install since they are as clear as they were 3 yrs. ago. Enjoy your Xfire as it is with it's protective shields. You can remove the 3M anytime you want with a hair drier set on low & patient peeling as you go, but you'll be sorry when nicks start to show from daily use after that.
