After reading numerous posts on engine coolant light issue, I discovered the fan was DOA.
The fan or the module seem to be at fault - fuse is ok by battery

I jumped out the fan to 12v and it checked out fine
found a used control module and installed yesterday.
That seemed to fix the problem as fan worked and coolant light went out today coolant light returned and no fan.

How can i test the control module before I go get another one?
Is there a cross reference to our part #05102818aa
