RobinT,

I was on the Crossfirefourm.org and saw your comments to the "car wash" thread. I thought I would put my two cents worth in for the Crossfire.

I have always owned Chrysler products. My first car was a used 1951 Plymouth and I've owned 6 Chrysler/Dodge since. I put 187k miles on a Dodge Dakota that I gave to my brother who now has over 300k on it. I just retired my 1996 Dodge Ram Sport to the driveway with 193k trouble free miles.

We bought the 2004 SSB Crossfire on July 4th 2003 and now have 19k on it. I payed full MSRP and even though they are now less expensive I have no regrets. The car (or should I say "piece of art") is simply amazing. It rides very well, corners like glue and even though some complain of lack of hoursepower, I find it gets where its going fast, smooth, and with style. It is true that this automobile is one of the great secrets in the industry. Owning a "rare" car is great but the fear is that if it doesn't sell well, it might be discontinued. I am torn with that thought. For us in the public that don't care about being the fastest at the light or racing 19 year olds down a country road, this allows us style, prestige, and performance we had only dreamed of for years.

Thanks for the many years of transportation and now the great styling.
