Default Re: Car wash story

The one thing that stands out in my mind is when I stopped at a long light in traffic (in my Roadster with the top down) and a "macho" guy in a van commented on how "cute" the car is and that it's a great looking woman's car. And that it was great that Chrysler finally made a car for girls! I was polite and just said "thanks", but I know that there are probably more men than women driving the Crossfires and that could have started quite a road rage if someone else was in the car. I am wondering exactly what people are seeing when they say that it's a cute car? and why would it be for women? Is it because it's kind of small and maybe underpowered for a "Macho Man"? Could be that DC might sell more of them if they DID have a little more power.
On the same note, I'll get guys that seem to get excited about the car and ask how fast it goes. I guess people might be expecting more than it can do?? Maybe it's just the age group because it seems like, on this forum, that most of the boomers are happy with the speed, whereas the younger crowd need more.
JMHO, I LOVE the car!
